He was a great example for the children, and I thank God for him, and for Elbert Hadley (another bus driver we had). They were both a great example for the kids. Reader requests on the now sealed Bad Rack Files Incident was behind us, till now . . . Robyn Curry writes: Several years ago when the old Courthouse was still in service there was a news story about a deer getting inside of the Courthouse through a window. If I remember correctly the deer entered and exited through windows. I don't recall if the deer was injured or if this occurred during regular business hours for the office staff. If you could assist me in locating a link to the news report of this incident, I would be grateful. Thanks, Robyn CurryThanks, I guess, for asking. Bless your heart, this is a heavy request. My hesitancy is that we don't want to induce nightmares over something buried and forgotten over 5 years ago. Columbia has not been attacked by a lovelorn deer in that long, and nerves have just now started to settle. But if you'll quietly read the story and promise not to steer up anything, here's the link to the story I think you are referring to: Varmintology Report: Lovelorn deer attacks Adair CO, KY courthouse That's all we'll say. -CM 2011-06-02 10:49:10 | Comments | Printable version
