There will be a book signing on Friday, May 27, 2011, at 3pmCT, for Green County historian Lanny Tucker's latest book, "Osceola, The Town the River Claimed." The signing will be at the Monroe Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Halltown RD, Hardyville, KY, right off KY 88 in Monroe, KY.

The unique thing about the book signing is that this church was started in Osceola and was moved to Monroe, and the church in Monroe still contains some original things from the old Osceola church.

The book is historical, like my brother's other book, "History Among Us," and, like the first book, "Osceola," was printed in Columbia, KY, with the help of Ralph Waggener, by South Central Printing. -Jelaine Harlow
