Adair leaders learn about issues affecting KY Retired Teachers Click on headline for story plus photo(s) By Rita Campbell On April 19, 2011, four hundred leaders of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association attended the 43rd Annual State Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. This year's theme was Celebrate Retirement. Under this umbrella issues were included relating to health insurance, legislation, and benefits. Among those listening and learning were delegates Bobbie Coomer and Rita Campbell from Adair County. This conference was all about one thing - giving the leaders of Kentucky's Retired Teachers the chance to learn about issues affecting retired teaachers so they may take this information back to the 118 local organizations throughtout the state.
