Mary Keltner: Birds of KY, an educational device for Grandmothering Mary Keltner writes: Ed, Just wanted you to know that the website, and especially the photo archive, has been a great teaching tool for Molly. She loves "birdies", and frequently asks me to "look up the birdies" on the computer. Then when we go for walks it is fun to see what types of birds we spot. There is a lot of forested area near the house, so we see many types of birds and also deer throughout the neighborhood. -MaryThanks for your letter. It makes this day for us. Thanks for the comment on the website; it's a reminder of how much this community must appreciate the way dozens, maybe hundreds now, of highly skilled photographers have shared some great photos here. Thanks for the reminder of the the joys of walking through the woodlands with a two year old. Precious moments only grandparents can fully appeciate. -EW 2011-04-14 08:06:12 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback

The church was packed in those days, when it was obligatory for everyone from every church to attend every other church's revivals.
