Grissom-Martin Funeral home was Creel, later Page residence

The Creels moved to Russell County and Established the community of Creelsboro
    David Martin writes:
    Ed,

From what I've been told, the original house was built in 1818 by the Creel family who later moved to Russell County and established the community of Creelsboro. M.L. Grissom purchased the property in 1936 and moved his undertaker shop from the square to the Campbellsville St. location. It has been a funeral home since with many additions and remodeling done. A Page family lived in the house at one time and it is considered by the Kentucky Hertitage Commission as a Kentucky Landmark signed by Gov. Louie Nunn. -David Martin
