George Rice: God made dogs to be friends to mankind

George Rice writes:
What a wonderful and well written story!

Beverly Merritt mentioned that there are a lot of wonderful people in the world, both young people and adults.

I really liked her true dog story and have always contended that God made dogs especially to be friends to mankind. There is no other animal that will bond to people as a dog will.

I know that that remark will get some attention from cat lovers and cats can be affectionate to mankind but they will do it on their own terms and if they want to. -George Rice
