Shaimarie Claiborne reports from Indianapolis, IN

Doyle and I will keep you posted from Indy. I think he's sent some great photos for you. (He did: See Adair County Marching Band at BoA 2010 Nationals: Album. -CM) - Shamarie Claiborne, in Indianapolis with THE Band.

By Shamarie Claiborne

The Adair County Marching Band did great! They put on an impressive show at the Bands of America preliminaries yesterday, Thursday, November 11, 2010. The huge Adair County contingent was extremely proud to see the reception the audience at Lucas Oil Stadium gave them in the national Bands of America contest; and I'm sure the few people who stayed home in Columbia are proud as well.

We won't know until about 9:30-10:30pmCT whether we've made the semi-finals. We all think we deserve it. And we try not to be partial.Spirits were raised when Superintendent Treece made an appearance. He drove up to Indianapolis to support Adair County.
