Three crosses in sky over ACES: Simply contrails? or God's finger? Writer thinks God was sending a message By Wanda Murray Monday, September 20, 2010, I saw a spectacular sight in the sky that I have never seen before, Unfortunately I did not have a camera with me. I was at the back door of Adair Elementary School waiting to receive some of our students. I looked up and I saw 3 perfect crosses in the sky. Someone asked me, "What do you think this means?" I believe God was sending a message. There were 3 crosses at Calvary. Which side of the cross are you on? That is the message I received. It's a personal decision. One thief rejected Christ, and died, one accepted him and received everlasting life. The image was made by jet planes or God's finger?s/Wanda Murray 2010-09-22 13:17:56 | Comments | Printable version

Why of stories on CM needs more attention About: Wants CM to carry better news of LWC By Robert Stone The letter wondering about the "lack of events at LWC" made me start thinking about the stories on ColumbiaMagazine. This very letter illustrates one of the problems. What does LWC stand for? Obvious, you say? Well, obvious if you already know but not if you are a new resident of the area or someone from outside. Sometimes stories about events give us a lot of details about the people involved but not much about the event itself. A recent story about a book signing did not say whether books would be available for purchase at the signing itself. And there was not even a brief synopsis of the book.
