Travel: Glasgow, KY, LBN traffic jam backs up traffic over mile But does not compare to 9-day traffic jam in Orient About: Parkway closed at Glasgow KY for 1 hour Tuesday To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Ratliff and I had to go to Scottsville, Tuesday evening to teach math classes at the LWC Scottsville campus. Just as we were getting to Glasgow, at approximately the 12 mile marker, we met a wrecker towing a Dump Truck that had a portion of its front axle destroyed. Skid marks indicated that it was going west bound when it skidded across the west bound lanes and into the median. The truck's load, which appeared to be gravel, had been scattered all over the east bound lanes and the median. A BobCat loader was scraping the highway clean as we passed by. Traffic was backed up only to the bridge/overpass of exit 11...nothing to compare with the 9 day traffic jam in China that made the news the other day!
