Sarah Thompson places in Top Five in State Adair County High School 2010 graduate Sarah Thompson won the star AgriBuiness award for the Lake Cumberland Region this year and was also named top 5 in the state. Her display at the Kentucky State Fair is a representation of her SAEP Supervised Agricultural Experience Project (SAEP) in FFA during her years at Adair County High School.Sarah was president of the Adair County Future Farmers of America in her senior year. Letter: Traffic snarl after Joan Jett concert has Big Al fuming at Frankfort Tired and eager to get home to Adair County from Kentucky State Fair, Big Al was slowed by highway construction which slowed traffic on 1-65 to 3 mph. He thinks retribution in order. But Joan Jett put on a great show. To ColumbiaMagazine.com: My family and I went to the Kentucky State Fair to watch the fabulous Joan Jett tonight. She put on a fantastic show for everyone who attended and even gave a strong performance despite hurting herself in the process.
