Ashley Goodin led the way with a 40, Emilee Royse 44, Abby Royse 55, and 7th grader Jessica Simpson shot a 68. Rachel Phipps did not play due to illness. Adair County shot a 207 to Washington Co. 212. I am pleased with a win. I was concerned with Rachel out but our kids hung in there and Jessica did well considering it was her first ever competitive golf event. Ashley, Emilee, and Abby have been pretty steady in all events we've had so far. We go to Rosewood Golf & Country Club, 612 Fairway DR, Lebanon, KY, Tuesday, August 17, 2010, to play Marion County. This is also going to be the site for the Heartland Conference Tournament so it gives us a chance to be on the course prior to the tournament.
