Global Warming not the issue; Local Warming is About: The Heat: Trees Good. Blacktop Bad By Billy Joe Fudge Thanks, Ed, for this most revealing documentation of something we have already known. However, sometimes we need a slap up side the head to wake us up. Now, let us not start a conversation about global warming with all its political baggage and personal agendas but a conversation about how we can all work together to make Columbia/Adair County a better, safer, and more pleasant place to live. Thanks for the slap up side the head! 2010-07-08 04:45:05 | Comments | Printable version
Treelined, unpaved streets, the way the Creator meant a Village to be About: The Heat: Trees Good. Blacktop Bad To ColumbiaMagazine.com Amen brother! Look at some of the pictures of beautiful downtown Knifley afore the Great Flood. Streets made from nature's own and tree lined as the Creator meant a village to be, yet somehow the men all had jackets on and the women folk had ankle length dresses waving in the breeze. All this afore air conditioned houses and cars. But I must admit the little shack in the back could be a challenge at times! s/COF at Dun Roman High on a shade covered unpaved Eden overlooking beautiful downtown Knifley 2010-07-08 04:33:50 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback Birthdays and Anniversaries for July 8 Happy Anniversary, Randy and Angie Smith | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Anniversary, Ronnie and Joyce Kelley | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Addie Elise Baker (2009) | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Andrew Benton Green | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Annette Curry | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Benjamin Bault, (1984) | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Christian Ford (1993) | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Corbin E.
