Baby So Soft now over 700 blankets/cash equivalent total Bonnie Rodgers reported this morning that even though the Flood impeded reports from many contributing organizations, the latest count shows that the campaign to get 1000 soft holding blankets. enough to give one to each baby in the Kosair Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit over the course of one year, is over 700 blankets/cash equivalent. This morning, the count was 675 blankets, $305 in cash, or enough to money to add 30 blankets. CJE Ann Melton announces free dumping for flood debris Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton has made available dumping at the Mid State Waste Transfer Station located on L. Willis Road in Adair County, free for Flood Debris only. The only items to be accepted free of charge will be things such as wet carpet, wall board, etc., from the flood. Employees at the transfer station will be checking the items as well as making sure of Adair County residency. Only Adair County residents may use the free dumping.
