I would keep old but treasured items in it.Family and friends would be welcome to open it, go inside, and and enjoy looking at the things inside for the memories that they bring, nobody would be allowed to sort and throw away these items. I have one of Benji's old baby shoes from when he was 4 months old, I have old toys that belong to both Benji and Chris. Remembering Luther Collins: Worked at Collins Drug Store About: Obituary: Luther Collins, 91, Adair Co., KY To ColumbiaMagazine.com: In memory of Mr.Collins.I worked at the drug store for Mr. and Mrs. Collins for a number of years. They were so good to me. It was a joy to know them. I remember so many things they taught me about life and how to be a good honest person no matter where you were or who you were with. I remember how Mrs. Collins taught me to bake homemade pies and make chili. I married in 1965 and moved to Glasgow, KY, where I live now. It about broke my heart to have to leave them. I will be grateful for both of them. They were great people to have as my friends. They were also great friends to my Daddy and our family. s/Mary Helen Smith Bennett 2010-03-02 00:54:20 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback
