When we look at the facts the decision becomes easy. We can vote YES and spend 5.6 cents for a new school or vote no and spend 11.2 cents/$100 and have a renovated 50 year old building. I'm still voting YES! s/Terry Partin 2009-12-08 11:45:54 | Comments | Printable version
Soccer success is lesson in excellence which applies to schools About: CWC List, Community Working for Children, grows again By Billy Joe Fudge Lindsey Wilson's newest NAIA National Soccer Championship is another example of our community's commitment to excellence. During difficult times we can be tempted to mediocrity, to settle for less than the best. Letter: Would say No as of now About:All for new school but thinks information needed To ColumbiaMagazine.com: As of now I would say "no" to a new tax. Tearing down a sound struture, instead of a renovation would be a waste of hard earned taxpayer money. We need to increase teacher and employee pay and spend money on updating technology. The community needs to be asked for help in finding alternative answers by the school board instead of having a new tax shoved down their throat. s/Ray Fluhr 2009-12-08 05:24:28 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback
