C.J. and Elizabeth Isabelle are pleased to announce the birth of their new baby brother. Jayden Chass Isabelle was born July 14, 2009 at 3:14pm, at St. Joseph East Hospital, in Lexington KY. Jayden weighed 4.5 and was 17 inches long. His proud parents are Chass Isabelle and Jamie Spoon of Columbia. Jayden was also welcomed home by his excited granny Emogene Spoon, aunt and uncle Lisa and Gary, and grandpa Tracy Isabelle.

Green River Cowboys won't perform the bank robbery this year

Eight year tradition will have hiatus in 2009. Green River Cowboys will be back in 2010, however

I have had several inquiries as to whether the Green River Cowboys are doing the bank robbery. The Green River Cowboys are not performing the Jesse James Bank Robbery Saturday.

We have done the bank robbery for the past 8 years or so and have had a lot of fun doing it. Charles Grimsley has been a pleasure to deal with.

Hundley House new name for home of Lindsey Wilson Presidents

President's home re-named in honor of Dr. Emily Hundley, whose Marion, KY, family has ties with Lindsey Wilson College dating back to 1925. Hundley Hall, now part of Slider Recital Center, once served as college dining room. Residence at 301 Lindsey Wilson ST, Columbia, KY, has been home to six LWC Presidents and their families

Thats because the LWC Presidents Home was officially renamed Friday morning the Emily Hundley Presidents Home.

Band 2008 Scion XC car give away at 7pm Sat., Oct. 10, 2009

The 2008 Scion XD, that the Adair Co. Marching Band boosters and members have been selling raffle tickets on, will be given away this Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 7:00pmCT, right before Buddy Jewell takes the main stage at the Rusty Nail in the Downtown Days Festival. No. 3 LWC Men's Soccer beats Embry-Riddle 6-0

Five goals come before halftime in game

COLUMBIA, KY - The third ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team didn't let a rain-soaked field slow it down Friday, earning a 6-0 shutout against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical (Ariz.) University at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.

While the game results were made official after completing 70 minutes of action, the referees stopped play with 84 minutes and 13 seconds on the clock due to deteriorating field conditions.
