Basset hound mix found in Portland area Loving dog appears to be someone's pet To ColumbiaMagazine.com: A dog came to my house in the Portland area of Columbia, around Tuesday, September 8, 2009. It looks to be a basset hound mix or something. Im not quite sure. This dog came here injured and I have managed to heal the wounds and an eye infection. Driver airlifted to UK after KY 433 single vehicle crash By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY WASHINGTON CO., KY - An injury collision occurred at 3:50pmET, Saturday, September 13, 2009, on KY 433 in the limits of Mackville in Washington County. Victor Ruiz, age 37, of Willisburg, KY, not belted, was operating a 1996 Pontiac 4-door traveling Westbound on KY 433. The Ruiz vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Ruiz was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries. Trooper Donnie Moses of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating. He was assisted at the scene by Willisburg Rescue.
