On Friday morning my husband Floyd and I went for the first time to the new Circle R for breakfast. We are very pleased with it. The food was very good and the service was great. Brush Arbor Youth Revival is Sept. 11-13, 2009

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, near Sano in Russell Co., KY, would like to invite all to their Brush Arbor Youth Revival on September 11-13, 2009 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Services will begin at 6:30pmCT, each night with special singing, and messages from evangelist, Bro. Josh Owens. On Sunday night of the revival, there will be fellowship and a bonfire roast after the services that we would like to encourage everyone to attend. Remember to bring your own lawn chairs and/or blankets, as the services will take place outside each night, limiting our seating. Obituary: Ruhel Graham Judd, 88, Green Co., KY

Mr. Judd was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a former General Electric Employee, a former Green Co., KY Circuit Court Clerk, a farmer, and an Army veteran of World War II. He will be accorded full military honors.

Mr. Ruhel Graham Judd, 88, died September 3, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY. The funeral services for Mr. Ruhel Graham Judd will be conducted at 2:00pmCT, Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 201 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville, KY with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4:00pmCT until 9:00pmCT Saturday, September 5, 2009, and after 7:00amCT until time of the funeral Sunday, September 6, 2009. Pallbearers will be Terry Judd, Eddie Judd, Jeremy Edwards, Andy Judd, David Judd, and Chad Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers will be Doodle Lile, Tony Matney, Wade Cobb, Ann Arnett, and John and Peggy Frank.

ACHS students are having impressive impact on drive to make every home, school, play ground, church, and cemetery safer

Campbellsville, KY, Police arrested Terry L. Bishop, 20, Greensburg, KY after an investigation after receiving a call that there was a man with a gun in the parking lot of Smith-Altman Insurance, 309 E. First Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Second Annual Adair Co. Medication Disposal Program

Figuring out a safe and legal way to dispose of unused or expired medications can be difficult, but help is available.

Five Adair County agencies are teaming up to offer the program again this year to dispose of un-needed or expired medications. The Adair County Judges Office, The Adair County Solid Waste Management Program, The Adair County Coroners Office, The Adair County Sheriffs Office and The Adair County Ambulance Service.

AC Fire Department responds to fire, Dean Woods RD

The Adair Co. Fire Department responded at 9:48PM Friday, Sept., 4th to a House fire at 485 Dean Woods RD. The property sustained minimal damage contained to two rooms.
