From KY Fish & Wildlife Frankfort, Ky. - Dates are now set for the waterfowl blind drawings for Doug Travis, Lake Barkley, Green River Lake, Sloughs and Barren River Lake Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs). Those hunters interested in participating in the waterfowl blind drawing must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid 2009 Kentucky hunting license, a Kentucky waterfowl permit and a Federal migratory bird permit (duck stamp) at the time of the drawing. Columbia Police make meth arrrest on Burkesville ST. A Columbia woman was arrested on Sunday, August 16, 2009, by Columbia Police on meth charges afer a traffic stop on Burkesville ST. Elisah Bunch, 30, Columbia, KY, was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methoamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, and publlic intoxication.
