As a society, we have taken the competition out of everything for children, out of fear of hurting someones feelings. This includes everything from sports to school grading scales. It has been said that competition breeds success. If you believe this, as I do, we are simply setting all of our youth up to fail by not allowing them to compete, especially in school.
