One Columbia icon saved spurs interest in another Sent as invitation for suggestions A reader asks: "With the opening of the Circle R imminent, talk of restoring the courthouse and what has been done behind Farm Bureau, I begin to wonder what is to happen to the Columbian Theatre? Columbians have shown great interest in restoring and maintaining various icons in our community. It would be sad to think that our theatre wouldn't be saved. I had seen a sign up that said 'maybe' for a while but that is gone now. Are there any plans that have been made public for this great icon in our town?" 2009-06-09 04:36:24 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Commentary Birthdays and Anniversaries for June 9 Happy Anniversary, Brent and Keisha Baker (1995) | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Brian Taylor | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Dana Compton Helm | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Dorothy Bingham | (Updates/Corrections) Happy Birthday, Dr. William T.
