Support for baseball team nothing short of amazing

About: "The Claiborne Analysis Mon May 18 2009 was record day"

Jeff Dunbar writes:
The Adair County Baseball Boosters would like to thank all the people who have gotten behind the effort to improve our baseball facilities. The support we've received has been nothing short of amazing. I can hardly go anywhere in town without someone yelling to me, "I voted today!"

The number of people that are aware of what we are doing makes you realize what a small world we now live in.

Keep up the good work Adair. If we can stay inside the top 15, we should be assured of getting some money to build a new, more fan friendly backstop or maybe new dugouts.

Remember, there is power in numbers. Vote.

  • First: The Great News is Adair County is now firmly in 7th Place in the nation in the voting for the Field of Dreams.

  • Second: The almost great news is that Adair County had it strongest voting day on record, with 2,124 votes cast in one day for the local ball field renovation on Monday, May 18, 2009!

  • Third: The sobering news is that we've looked back, and nobody behind us is gaining, but the front runners have really poured on the steam. For the first time since we got our Quick Link posted on CM, for the first time in four days, we were outvoted, by the now number one vote getter, Flagler.
My last check, at 9:18amCT, Tuesday, May 19, 2009, showed Adair County at 10,341 votes. Remember, the link above can also be used, after you've voted, to check the totals. It the vote total isn't moving, we need to get moving and get voting for Adair County moving up.
