Comments on the Greenness of the Mountain Laurel photos About: Mountain Laurel Watch At or near peak May 17 2009 To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Excellent pictures of the mountain laurel from the Corbin's Bend Road looking upstream of the lake. That view looks so familiar, as I can see the Holmes Bend Dock and our home place at the dock. Did you use a filter to get the excellent green color of the timber? George Rice Thanks. We'd love to hear more about your home place and how Green River was before the Green River Dam. As for the photo, no filter was used. Actually, it's just a little $100, almost throwaway camera. Just point and shoot. And when buttons are changed, it's by accident. The fabulous greens are simply because Adair County is the greenest place on earth right now. -EW To See Mountain Laurel Trail as it looked one year ago today Click Here 2009-05-18 05:31:43 | Comments | Printable version
