Sewer service now available to Green Hills, Parrott Avenue By Cindy Lackey COLUMBIA, KY -- Sewer service is now available to 73 homes along Parrott Avenue and in the Green Hills Subdivision. The "tap on" fee will be waived for residents who sign up for sewer service by August 1, 2009. The City of Columbia recently finished extending sewer lines to the area from the city's wastewater treatment plant. Septic systems tend to fail in the area due to poor soil conditions. I am not familiar with either of the cities and am interested in their locations withing their respective countries. I lived in Ankara, Turkey, for 18 months and have probably spent several weeks in various parts of Italy north of Naples.
