Comments: Adair Countians live in a beautiful place in the world About: "We don't need to showcase our litter" To ColumbiaMagazine.com: I agree with this writer that Adair County doesn't need any more trash along the roads. We have recently moved back to Kentucky after many years of traveling all over the world, and I am appalled to see the trash along the roads when we drive through picturesque Adair County today. I remember back in the 60's (I think) there were signs posted along the roads notifying drivers of fines that would be imposed for littering. Where are these signs today? It is a shame that the people driving through those scenic roads of Adair County just open the window and toss whatever they don't want to look at in their cars. You live in a beautiful place in the world. Give it some respect and enjoy it. s/Phyllis Corbin Minnick 2009-04-11 10:19:32 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback
