Comments: Remembering Black Lion John McCoy

About: Remembering Black Lion John McCoy

Joe, you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your "brother." Reading your comments about this man and having an understanding of what you two must have went through for our country.

I had such a profound sense of loss and gratitude. It seems today people view friendships as disposal and I'm so grateful to you that you remember a different time! A time when friends stayed true. I'm sure I've not told you before, but thank you so much for everything you did for our country!

I appreciate you! Again, my deepest sympathy for your loss!

My husband, Delbert Perkins, and Charlie Robinson found 211 mushrooms in the lake area of Adair County yesterday 4-8-09. I will get to cook and eat some, but not too many at a time; a few will do you.

I roll then in flour and fry in oil to golden brown. They are good to eat with anything you are preparing.

Today, we will have pork ribs, fried potatoes and Mushrooms.
