Mature driver course to be offered at Adair Extension office The Kentucky State Police will be offering a mature driver improvement class. The class will last for four hours and there are no tests. Trooper William Gregory will be doing the program. The program will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009,beginning at 10:00amCT. Students must attend the entire class to receive their certificate. Deadline to register is Friday, April 17, 2009.Upon completion, students will receive a certificate which, under Kentucky law, entitles anyone over the age of 55 to three year auto insurance discount. You will need to bring a sack lunch. The cost will be $3.00. Blue Raider Bob took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and also visited with local residents. See also: History of Allen County Library Lindsey Wilson College's Scottsville campus has been a part of the Allen County scene since 1996. The newly renovated campus is now located on the public square, which itself is a being transformed into a showcase Kentucky downtown. The two campuses are approximately 62 miles apart. To visit the community, take the Louie B. Nunn to Glasgow, KY to Exit 11, go south on US-31E for approximately 21 miles, then turn left on KY 101/Smith Grove RD to Scottsville's downtown.
