Proud of the AC Girls and Boys, basketball team, cheerleaders

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Everyone in Adair County should be proud of the way the girls and boys basketball and the cheerleaders have represented us this year. The coaches of each program led their teams with class. Again, thanks for the memories.

Letter: Thanks to Duane Bonifer for picture from Rupp

About: ACHS Cheerleaders Backstage at Rupp Arena

To Duane Bonifer, via CM:

I was so glad to see this picture. I am unable to be at the state tournament due to our son being in the hospital. I am keeping close contact with everyone there to see what is happening. I know the boys will do great today; also our cheerleaders will be competing during the game and they will make me proud, as they always do. Adair County is lucky to have such a great group of kids. These teams will make everyone proud!

Keep the pictures coming so I can see what all is happening!!!

Thanks,
s/Julie McQueary, Adair County Cheerleading Coach

Two more ColumbiaMagazine.com milestones approaching

Two major milestones for ColumbiaMagazine.com are approaching, both at the ColumbiaMagazine group at Flickr.com
  1. We are 52 photos away from having 1,500 at Flickr

  2. We are One Photographer away from having 50 in the group
  3. If you become the 50th member, let us know. That distinction needs to go in the "World Record Book of Guinesses," as the great Mayor Coy Downey used to say. If you should notice the 1,500th photo, let us know that, too.

The counts above don't include the nearly 10,000 photos in the ColumbiaMagazine.com Photo Archives. When you have the time, that's a fun place to pass some time and learn more about the area.

However, and we stress this, we see ColumbiaMagazine.com as simply a tool to get the news quickly to make participating in Life in Adair County more enjoyable. Our goal is to get folks out to see the scenery, attend the events, go to the meetings, observe and participate and enjoy life the the greatest spot on earth. -CM
