$166,250 For Adair Project included in $360 million district wide grants. Announcement includes grants in Metcalfe, Casey, and Russell Counties. Judge Melton thinks Wellness Center will become a reality.

Rep. Ed Whitfield (KY-01) has announced that he has secured federal funds for four area projects in Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, and Russell Counties. $166,250 is earmarked for an Adair County Senior and Wellness Center.

The total budget for the wellness center is $1,2217,500, Judge Melton said, and noted that the request for federal funds was $500,000. Still, she said, "I'm thankful Rep. Whitfield could get this much, particularly with the tight federal budget."

I was wondering if you could help me in my trip down memory lane. When I was young, my mother had a plant (Mother of Thousands) that I was captivated by.

It was a member of the succulent family, and was propagated by growing " babies " on its leaves. The " babies " fell off, and would grow a new plant. Really, there was no growing to it, it kinda just took over.
