Letter: Community blessed with 'sound of music'

About: 109 year tradition of music

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I was very pleased to read the article and view the photographs of the musical gathering at the Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Roy residence. My late grandmother, Effie Burton Grider, and my late third cousin, Ruby Elizabeth Grahl Stephens, always told me that the Bailey family was a musical family. It's wonderful that the Roy community has been blessed with 'the sound of music' through the generations. Music is a very special gift. May God bless all members of the Archibald Grider Bailey family always.
