Family sends thanks to caring community for response to article About: "Illness, family fire puts young family in need of help" To the Columbia-Adair County Community: On behalf of Donnie and Denise Richards, I would like to thank this wonderful community for the response to this article. Within two or three hours of the article being posted, calls started coming in. In that short amount of time, people have donated a washer and dryer, living room suit, clothes for the little girl, and money. Words cannot express the gratitude and sincere appreciation that Donnie and Denise as well as the rest of their family have for the selfless giving and outreach of the people of this community. The fine folks at the Columbia Church of the Nazarene where Donnie and Denise attend have also given so unselfishly. They have helped in a countless number of ways to get this family back on their feet. This church has shown the love of Christ by being a living example of compassion and caring. Thanks again to everyone in the community who has done so much to help this family in their time of need. s/Kelly Crawhorn 2009-02-16 16:58:25 | Comments | Printable version
