Letter: Law officers conduct should be like preachers

About: "Doesnt think police officers think themselves above law"
To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Nothing in the original article regarding this did not say anything about how police officers do their jobs. It stated that police officers of all levels should have to follow the laws the same as non-police citizens. I think police officers should be setting an example for everyone else. It is no different than having a preacher tell you what not to do and then do it himself. Most people would not have respect for that preacher and would not go to his church. So, does the same not apply to police officers? How can they expect people to respect the law if they don't?
