About: "Cane Valley Kitchen scene brings back memories"

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I too had many memories come back to me as I saw the picture. I was only there for two years but I have memories that will last my whole life.

Letter: Cane Valley Kitchen scene brings back memories

Kitchen with provenance

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

As i am scrolling through the ColumbiaMagazine.com tonight I see this picture and what is says about Cane Valley Grade Center. It brought back so many childhood memories to me about the sign and the cafeteria there. I attended school there for seven years.

I spent many days working in the lunch room--that's what everyone called it back in those days with Miss Mattie Butler. There were great teachers: Mrs Judy Hancock Sewell (Miss Judy), MIss Mildred Revis, Mr. Leon Phelps and Mrs. Lois Sullivan Smith.

Mr George Todd as custodian. They were all so great.

Also the picture of Columbia and the picture of Cane Valley brings me back home again. Thanks for the Columbia Magazine you all are great.
