LWC Women's Soccer falls in national semifinal to Concordia 3-0 By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team's season ended tonight with a 3-0 loss to Concordia (OR) University in the NAIA National Tournament semifinals at Embry-Riddle Soccer Field. Just look for us along the parade route around 5:00pmCT and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night. The proceeds will go toward helping purchase much needed rescue equipment. Fire destroys mobile home on Millerfield Road Click on front page headline for complete story and photos By Donald Hare, ACFD Director of Public Affairs The Adair County Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire at 1:47 this morning, Friday morning, December 5, 2008, at 25 Millerfield Road. When firefighters arrival the mobile home was engulfed in flames. The home was vacant and the owner information was not known at the time of this report.. Snow White delights over 1,000 ACES, CWC students Susan Minton's Introduction to Theatre class at Lindsey Wilson College performed the classic "Snow White at Adair County Elementary School for the students at ACES and Colonel William Casey Elementary, on November 20, and 21, 2008, to the delight of over 1,000 students who attended the performances. "The students worked extremely hard on memorizing lines and constructing props, but it was all worth it when they saw the reaction they got from the audience," Mrs. Minton said. Mr. Robbie Harmon, ACES Principal, said, "Im very grateful for hard work of the performers, those behind the scenes, and Ms. Minton for her direction.
