Where possible, compost leftover food scraps, leaves, and grass clippings. Show your guests where to put recyclables such as aluminum, glass, and plastic beaverages containers.

By David Grigsby

This weekend the Blue Raiders travelled to Purdue University on Saturday, then Chicago Illinois on Sunday for the final regular season races of the collegiate cyclocross season.

Saturday's race was cold and rainy with winds gusts in the 30 mph range, but it couldnt dampen the spirits of the excellent fields. The Men's B race had about 25 riders rolling strong around the challenging course. An initial breakaway of Danny Estevez and an Indiana rider turned into a battle as the two gapped the field.

Great picture of mule riding days on Sulphur Creek RD

Click on headline for letter and photograph

    To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Attached is the picture of my Grandpa Curtis Arthur Vincent and my Dad Earl Arthur Vincent which was taken in front of the barn on Sulphur Creek Road. I don't have any information as far as the date my dad was 10-12 years old. He died in 2001 and grandpa died when I was in the 3rd grade, and I turned 50 this year. I can remember as a small child going to Grandpa's and there was a swinging bridge across Sulfur Creek just down from that barn.
