Adair County Indians Spring football game April 3, 2008

The Indians will be taking the field on Thursday, April 3, 2008, to play their Spring Game. Starting is set for 5:00 p.m., but will be canceled if raining. Everyone is invited to come out and get a look at next season' team. With the return of starting quarterback Brad Moore, and under the new leadership of Coach Eric Graves, the team are looking toward a winning season next year.

The Einstein statue is a great place in Washington, located across Constitution Avenue from the Vietnam Wall, near the Lincoln Memorial.

Enclosed by a grove of trees and bushes, it is a safe sanctuary from the heavy traffic so close by.

LWC Singers concert April 9, 2008, at Columbia Baptist Church

The Lindsey Wilson College Singers will perform their annual spring home concert on Wednesday, April 9, 2008.

The concert will be at 7:00pmCT on April 9 at Columbia Baptist Church. The concert is part of the Lindsey Wilson College Cultural Affairs Series and which is free and open to the public.

The Lindsey Wilson Singers' spring home concert is traditionally performed as the ensemble's final performance of its spring tour. This year's spring tour started in Albany, Ky., on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at First Albany Baptist Church, the home of Lindsey Wilson Singer senior Brett Conner.

Two injured when Suzuki Tracker overturns, flips 3-4 times

A one vehicle accident around 3:30pmCT on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 on KY 61 south of Columbia, KY, resulted in injuries to two occupants of a 1989 Suzuki Tracker.

The driver, 16 year old Roger Abner, of Columbia, KY, was traveling north on KY 61 South in a 1989 Suzuki Tracker when he dropped off the shoulder of the road and overturned, causing the Tracker to flip three to four times before coming to rest on the shoulder of the road.

Beta Fundraiser on Friday, April 4, 2008, honors Blane

The Beta Club and Student Council have been collecting money at school to contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. One fundraiser is a head-shaving competition.

Student and teacher volunteers are competing to see which person can get the most money in their individual containers that are set out during lunch for students to drop money in.

KSP Post 15 Activity Report for March 2008

We are starting a Bible teaching series on healing and want to invite anyone who wants to learn and be encouraged about how God still heals today.
