Gas Price Drumbeat: Says drilling in Alaska will lower gas prices To ColumbiaMagazine.com: How much can one really save by driving to another town to save 10 cents a gallon. On a 20 gallon tank you save $2.00. How much gas did you waste to save the $2.00. All I heard from Democrats in Congress was how much they would get done in their 1st 100 days including doing something about gas prices. The prices haven't gotten any better-they have gotten worse. Until we are allowed to drill our on oil (Alaska) and build more refineries, gas prices are beyond our control. People complain about the cost but if you look around it sure isn't slowing anyone down. s/D. Eaton Thanks. But it should be pointed out that you haven't read Gas Price Drumbeats carefully. To my knowledge, nobody has ever said they drive to another town just to buy gas.
