Robert Burton plans to come to Bearwallow cemetery tour

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your quick post of my letter to the Magazine. 4:45 AM? Somebody starts early, don't they?

Only minor correction:I am the great grandson of Thomas and Louisa. I have emailed Jason Harmon and it did not bounce, so the address must be right. If at all possible, I will try to get down there Memorial Day weekend for the Burton get together. Keep up the fine work in your magazine!

Regards,
s/Robert Burton

GAS PRICE DRUMBEAT: Notes Speedway differential

Ed

I just looked on the kygasprices.com and found out that all around us gas is 15-20 cents a gallon less than here. In Glasgow, the Speedway is $3.06. Seems like Speedway would give us the same break here. it has been $3.17 for 2 weeks already.

Update on Parker Hunt: He's off machines now

To read previous report on small child who had heart transplant, Click Here

By Lee Ann Jessee

Please keep him in your prayers as God continues to work miracles with this little boy.

We have received good news from Ernie about Parker Hunt. As of Sunday morning Parker was off all machines and sitting up in the bed eating popsicles! The doctors are very happy with his progress. Ernie said that the heart was a perfect match and everything looks good. Parker will probably be in the hospital for two weeks and then at home for three months in isolation because of a low immune system.

Thanks for continuing to keep him in your prayers.

  • Wants to hear from Burton & Bryant kin

    To My Burton Cousins!

Would enjoy hearing from any and all Burton and Bryant kin. I am the great-grandson of Thomas M. and Louisa Frances (nee Bryant). Thomas was a brother to Ambrose and left Adair County around 1900.

He and Louisa are buried in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Louisa was the daughter of William H and Cyntha (nee Bryant). I believe she was the daughter of James Bryant and Ellender Powell.
