Arson suspected in Greenbriar Road wildfire By Brandon Harvey, Public Affairs Officer, BAVFD Fourteen Breeding AVFD Firemen responded to a large grass and woodland fire on Friday, March 21, 2008, in southern Adair County, KY. The fire was reported just after 7 o clock on Greenbriar Road, at a location just past the intersection of Greenbriar and Chestnut Flat Road, eight miles south of Independence Road at Fudge Cemetery. Firemen were on the scene for about three hours battling the blaze. Arson is suspected. Update on Parker Hunt: He's off machines now To read previous report on small child who had heart transplant, Click Here By Lee Ann Jessee Please keep him in your prayers as God continues to work miracles with this little boy. We have received good news from Ernie about Parker Hunt. As of Sunday morning Parker was off all machines and sitting up in the bed eating popsicles! The doctors are very happy with his progress. Ernie said that the heart was a perfect match and everything looks good. Parker will probably be in the hospital for two weeks and then at home for three months in isolation because of a low immune system. Wants to hear from Burton & Bryant kin To My Burton Cousins! Would enjoy hearing from any and all Burton and Bryant kin. I am the great-grandson of Thomas M. and Louisa Frances (nee Bryant). Thomas was a brother to Ambrose and left Adair County around 1900. He and Louisa are buried in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Louisa was the daughter of William H and Cyntha (nee Bryant). I believe she was the daughter of James Bryant and Ellender Powell.
