Fatal accident occurs at KY 80 Bridge construction site POLICE REPORTS A Columbia, KY, woman was pronounced dead by the Adair County Deputy Coroner at 8:43 am this morning, Tuesday, March 4, 2008, following a crash on KY East 80 1/2 mile east of Columbia at the KY 80 bridge construction site. According to Kentucky State Police, the driver, Bridget Karnes, 44, Columbia, KY was operating a 2007 Chevy Avei, traveling west on KY 80, and failed to stop at the bridge construction site.
