I have memories of the Greensburg Bottling Plant.I always looked forward to going to the bottling plant to get that Ski, chips and pencil. Letter: Adair Marine at NC post finds it is a small (Ski) world

Empty can is clue to identifying fellow South Central Kentuckian far from home

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Our son, Lance CPL Daniel Kermeen, is currently stationed at Camp LeJuene in Jacksonville, North Carolina. A couple of months ago he was asked to help another Marine so he jumped into the guy's personal vehicle only to see an empty can of Ski on the dashboard! That fellow was from Green County and knew Daniel's dad.

Then, just tonight, Daniel & Tavon went to rent a movie and saw Adair County plates on a red pickup truck. He went back in and spoke to the Marine named Chapman who apparently has family in Adair County!

It really is a small world!

s/Pam Kermeen
