Gas Price Drumbeat: Prices about 20 higher here

Ed:

Our gas is still about 20 cents a gallon higher in Columbia than around us. Prices range from $2.69 to $2.75, elsewhere. I still have no ideas about contacting any of the distributiors as to why this keeps happening, but there has been lots of help and encouragement but no solution or reason for this disparity and especially so much difference.

s/Gerald Doss

Note: We may need to start thinking about living where we work, more public transportation, ZENN cars, motorcycles and scooters, bikes, carpooling, possibly one day a week gas holidays. -EW

My fondest memories of the bottling company was that as a child growing up in Green Countyand being astudent in the Green County School system.

The Greensburg Bottling Company would treat every kid to free bottle of Double Cola orSki, a bag of chips and a pencil. The Greensburg Bottling company, owned then bythe late Joseph Despain, was good to every student and really supported the Green County School system.
