Gas Price Drumbeat: Annualized price difference is big $249.60 a year saved adds up to a lot of groceries To the editor ColumbiaMagazine.com: Just a quick note to let everyone know that when I left Columbia at 10:00am this morning gas was $2.99. It is $2.79 in Edmonton today and people wonder why we complain. Think about it, if you gas up twice a week with a .20 per gallon savings that equates to over $249.60 per year. I have a 12 gallon tank so 12 times .20= $2.40X 2 fill ups per week ($4.80)times 52 = $249.60 per year. This maybe whinning to someone that isn't having to pay for gas themselves but personally I can use $250.00 on other things such as groceries, bills, etc. s/Tony Rutherford< 2007-12-13 14:52:24 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback
