Gas Price Drumbeat: Edwin Taylor was right

To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com

The citizens of Columbia just don't get the picture on the gas price issue.

If you think the price of gas in Columbia is too high, then be a consumer advocate and don't buy gas in Columbia. No one is forcing you to by gas in this town, so stop your whining, and remember that greed is the underling problem here.

Gas Price Drumbeat: Prices 12-17 higher here

Ed:

I was in Louisville, yesterday. Filled up on Preston Highway at $2.74 per gallon. While passing through Lebanon Junction, price was $.2.79. Meantime when I arrived back in Columbia, theprice had gone down 2 cents a gallon. It was $2.91 here where the shortage still exists. Must be some problem with the movement of gas into Columbia.

Feedback: Kids tardy because of Road Eighty Bridge

About: " How long until Road Eighty Bridge is ready?"
To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I too would love to know how much longer until the Hwy 80 bridgeproject is complete.

This construction has caused such a strain on our family, and itcouldn't have come at a worse time with gas at an all time high!! Weare driving several miles out of the way to get to schools, work (inSomerset), church etc.

My children have received several tardies at school because of thetraffic congestion, we leave earlier and earlier each day and thetraffic only gets worse and worse.

This has to end soon!

s/M Miller
