Ed:

It's been 2 weeks since gas prices increased in Columbia. I just checked our neighboring towns. They are still $2.76. That's 33 cents a gallon more than our neighbors and has been to 2 weeks already, Wonder how long before the others go up. Seems like we have been taken advantage of long enough.

Letter: Supports Sherman Wayne for beautifying town

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I personally think that the wall is a good thing, for one it provides privacy for the junk yard as well as obstructing the view of the cars from the road.

For two it provides some security for the junk yard, and it looks really cool. When tourists travel thru the area and people ask them what's Columbia got other than a fountain on the square [that doesn't work half the time] and a Wal-Mart, they can tell them that they have visited Bedrock when they talk about the wall.
