Mrs. Woody is the reason I attended college. She, like Mr. Woody, loved Berea College and saw to it that I was accepted and attended Berea. I stopped to see both of them a few times to just say thanks and visit a while.

Remembering Mr. Woody: He loved everything about farming

To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine:
I just want to take the time to say a few things about Mr.Woody. I have taken care of him for the last two years. I have lots of wonderful memories with him. In the last 5 months I have had the honor to take him back and forth from dialysis.

We would ride down the road going to Campbellsville and he would tell me stories about him teaching school and about some of the farmers that he helped while at Production Credit.
