Sally Kemp offers another tip on use of ICE

To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com

I have used the ICE identification in my cell phone for quite some time now.

An additional piece of helpful information would be to add the person's name after the ICE. Example:

If your spouse's name is John then you would put ICE JOHN in your cell phone. This would be helpful to emergency personnel when calling your emergency number to know the name of the individual they wish to locate.

Kemp Bridge user sends essay on why it had to be replaced

"Progress often met with opposition," commentator writes. Enumerates problems overcome with new bridge, and tells problems with leaving old bridge in place.

To the Editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com

Here is a link a site that has information about the two old bridges that were in Green County: Click Here

These two old bridges were maybe a half mile apart. There were no photos attached on this site that I could find for these two steel truss bridges, but there is information about when the bridges were built, other statistics, and inspection ratings.

For those who think the Kemp "Through Truss" style bridge was something that needed to be left, they might be shocked to see the information at www.bridgehunter.com.
