It appears from the response that Rev. Clifford Spurlock and the Spurlock Trio made quite a favorable impact on Adair County. The minister is remember very warmly by all who new him. The music he and his family provided is still recalled, but less is known about the Acme Recording Studio, but that should come in later today. KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, Sept. 2007 Activity Report By Dwaine Barnett, KSP Public Affairs officer, Post 15, Columbia, KY Special ColumbiaMagazine.com storyDuring the month of September 2007, there were 56 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY. During the month of September 2007, there were 1,435 citations written, 248 courtesy notices written, 3,111 vehicles inspected, 1,032 complaints answered, 67 motorists assisted, 89 criminal cases opened and 289 criminal arrests made. There were six fatalities in the Post 15 area, which brings the yearly fatality count to 34 compared with 37 through this same period in 2006, including one in Adair County death.
