Large group greets new Adair Agent, Nick Roy New county agent has farm background; grew up working in family's big Holstein operation on Russell County's Gosser Ridge, a highly regarded, progressive farming area By Ed Waggener A large crowd--over 60 people-- turned out at the Adair County Extension Center to greet the new Adair County Extension Agent for Agriculture, Nick Roy. The new agent is from Gosser Ridge in Russell County. He grew up on a large farm operation owned by his father and mother, Larry and Reva Roy. During his brief talk, Roy introduced his parents, and said,"I feel blessed to have grown up on a farm. It made me the person I am today."
