Indians football caravan, game both one hour later

By Cathy Moss
The Adair County Indians Football game with Evarts in Greensburg, set for Saturday, August 25, has been moved back one hour, with kick-off now set at 5:00pm CT. The caravan, planned also for Saturday, will now be leaving at 3:45pm instead of 2:45pm from the old Payless parking lot on Jamestown ST.

The change in time is due to the hot tempatures expected for Saturday. Coaches are hoping the one hour delay will allow for a lower heat index, making safer playing conditions.

Feedback: Alhambra photo brings back memories

About: Pictures from the past Alhambra Theatre Main ST Cville

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

The Alhambra was the first theater I went to as a child. I remember the news reels and Elvis movies!

My parents would give me $1.00. With that amount I paid the admission price of .35 (yes that is cents) and bought a coke, hot dog and popcorn.

Thanks for the photo, Larry. This was a nice walk down memory lane.
