112 ATV riders have requested helmets. Program needs money now. Won't you help? Our goal is reducing injuries and death. The message we are trying to promote is ATV's are dangerous to operate and you should always wear a helmet. Our goal is to make sure every child Adair County ATV has the protection of a helmet By Rick Wilson The program for free helmets is going great. It is obvious Adair County folks are concerned about head injuries in ATV crashes. I have received around 112 request for free helmets at this point. Feedback: Concern over Garrard-Mercer bridge To the editor, CM: I live on Herrington Lake very close to the KY 152 Herrington Lake at Garrard-Mercer county line bridge. I have a lot of concern about the bridge as it went from 10 ton to 3 ton overnight. Who is going to control what is crossing the bridge?
